Connect Your AI
Bring Your Own Service (BYOS) — authenticate your existing Claude or ChatGPT account. In QI.dev, click your chosen provider button (red when disconnected) and follow the two-step process. The button will turn green once authenticated. QI supports both Claude Code and OpenAI ChatGPT, with Gemini CLI planned.
Landscape Q&A
Once in, go through our Landscape Q&A where our AI will ask around 15 questions to find out more about your business or organisation and create a summary report. This report will then serve as context for the AI coding agent when we move into the build stage. Providing the right context is essential with AI to get the best outcomes.
Data Hub
Your apps share a single source of truth. The Data Hub stores your core entities — Contacts, Organisations, Locations, and Assets — in centralised Data Packs that every app can read from and write into. Change a contact in one app and it updates everywhere. Tags and custom fields let you extend and organise your data to fit your business, and imports mean you don't have to start from scratch.
Discovery
This is where you describe to the AI coding agent your idea, vision or problem to solve. In a conversational Q&A session it will work together with you to come up with a plan and determine the modules that are relevant. The output of the discussion is a product requirements document (PRD) and technical requirements document to review. Once happy click 'Accept & Build'.
Build
Following discovery the AI coding agent will build the application. In an ideal world it will 'One-shot' what you want, however, it's likely you will need to iterate together with the AI agent to refine the app to getting working how you want. In build you will see a working web and mobile version of the app in the thumbnails. Minimise the left panel to increase the thumbnails or click to open in a new browser window.
Secure & Optimise
Throughout the build process QI, combined with the AI coding agent will check the code for potential vulnerabilities. This stage adds an additional layer where the ready to deploy app/code is checked for potential security vulnerabilities by an AI coding agent specialised to this task.
Identity & Access
Set up your users and permissions. Decide which apps they can access and what access level role you want them to have. All the apps sit behind a centralised gateway built on Microsoft's ASP.NET Core Identity framework. Whether users log in directly to an app or through their dashboard, they pass through the same unified gateway.
Deploy
With a click of a button, deploy the app live on your QI.dev platform. Our automated service will determine the infrastructure required. The app will be available via its own unique web address or via the user dashboard all protected behind our Identity & Access gateway.
